
Ingredients

- 800g of fresh strawberries
– 1 or 2 Madagascan vanilla beans
– 1/2 lemon
– 240g brown sugar
Preparation
Wash the strawberries thoroughly and cut them in half.
Then put them in a medium-sized nonstick pan.
Add the sugar and the vanilla bean.

Cooking
Cook the strawberries for 10 minutes over medium heat, then reduce the heat. Add the lemon juice to it, then continue cooking for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Your strawberry jam is ready when the juice is reduced and has an almost sticky texture.
Set aside to cool for 15 minutes. Spoon into sterilised jar, label and seal tightly.
Serving suggestion
Strawberry jam can add variety and a different touch to your breakfast.
